DOG-FRIENDLY BUSINESSES ACROSS WISCONSIN - OUR COMPLETE LIST
Updated: Aug 19
The reason I wanted to start this blog to begin with was because I wanted to share our adventures and hopefully be a great resource for all of your WI travels. I am so happy to present our complete list of dog-friendly Wisconsin businesses! I always wished I had a nice big dog-friendly list to reference, but I could never find it. So, I decided to make my own and be the resource dog owners are missing! If you check out any of these spots with your 4 legged friend, please take a photo and tag us @ThatWisconsinCouple!
Lodging = Blue
Dog-friendly patio = Yellow
Dogs allowed inside = Green
This is your friendly reminder to always bring waste bags, a water bowl, and water with you everywhere you go when traveling with your pups. Be sure to pick up after your pet and keep them on a leash at all times in public spaces to keep areas dog-friendly.

DOG-FRIENDLY BUSINESSES ACROSS WISCONSIN
Amhurst
Central Waters Brewery
351 Allen St, Amherst, WI 54406
We loved Central Waters. They have a massive dog-friendly patio! It has some fireplaces and even a covered area. You have to go into the taproom to order and they don’t serve food, but offer snacks and allow you to bring your own food. The beers were excellent and we had a great time hanging out. Day trip idea: Hike on the IAT at Hartman Creek State Park and pick up a pizza at Sliced on your way over.

Al Ringling Brewery

This brewery is located in the beautiful, red brick mansion in Downtown Baraboo, and was actually home to Al Ringling at one point. They have a patio out back that is dog-friendly, but you need to go into the taproom to order. They do serve food and are well known for the empanadas.
Balance Rock Winery
1065 Walnut St, Baraboo, WI 53913
This is the perfect spot for a date night with or without your pup. This dog-friendly patio has beautiful views of the bluffs and is connected to the Baraboo Country Club driving range. I love to get one of their wine cocktails. Hayden gets a beer and a bucket of balls. Then the pups and I relax on a picnic table and watch Hayden practice his swing. They do offer food and serve a bunch of fun appetizers.
Baraboo Bluff Winery
E9120 Terrytown Rd, Baraboo, WI 53913
Another beautiful space that gives great views of the bluffs while you’re sitting on one. They have a nice dog-friendly outdoor space. There is a covered area to provide you and your foof some shade, but you have to go in and order at the bar.
Bekah Kate’s
117 3rd St, Baraboo, WI 53913
Ahhhh my favorite shop in Baraboo. This is a kitchen gadget/home decor/gift shop that I adore and shop literally every time I am downtown. Your pup is welcome to shop alongside you (which is good because I like to be able to take my time in this one!)

Dogs can't come in, but they do have the cutest little doggy anchors for you to link up your pup while you go in and grab a drink. They do have a small patio with 2 bistro tables for you to enjoy your drinks on.
Tumbled Rock Brewery
S5718 State Rd 136 & DL, S5718 State Rd 123, Baraboo, WI 53913
In my opinion this is the best dog-friendly patio in the area. It is massive, has fire pits, a turf area, and tables where pup can dine with you–the food is amazing! Or you can just grab a drink and sit on the turf area and listen to some live music. This is a great pit stop after a nice hike at Devil’s Lake.

Copper Crow is the first native owned distillery in the country. It is tucked into the woods near Lake Superior and has a beautiful patio for you and pups to relax on. You have to go in to order, so I’d recommend visiting with a buddy. The space is stunning and very welcoming. Cocktails are great and priced around $10 each.
The Creamery Bar
31 S 1st St, Bayfield, WI 54814
This is what I would consider the friendly neighborhood dive bar. The patio is dog-friendly, but a little weird to enter. Don’t be afraid to ask for help… we did! They don’t serve food, but the beer is cheap and cold!

They do not serve food, but they have lots of indoor seating and a massive cocktail menu highlighting their vodka made right on the property. They infuse it to make some incredible drinks! Check their website before you go–they often have food trucks. When we were there on a Thursday afternoon, there was a farmers market, food trucks, and a sunflower maze! Part of their farm is a sunflower field, and we happened to visit them in peak bloom. No matter the season, I think Perlick Distillery has something for everyone!

Their patio is dog-friendly and they have a little doggy menu with treats, ice cream, and doggy “beer”. This fish is so great. Thick batter and great thick, crispy steak fries. My old fashioned was STRONG and they used an extra large ice cube that had an orange and cherry frozen in it. This was such a great experience! Make sure you try their rotating cheesecake flavor too!

We found the absolute gem of a campground– Lynn Ann’s Campground in St. Germain, WI. It sits on the beautiful Big Saint Germain lake and even has some waterfront campsites. We spent Labor Day weekend there and the grounds were pretty full and most sites had their pups along for the adventure. The campground itself is wonderful. They have a private marina that you can rent a boat slip at during your stay for your own boat, or rent one of their boats (they have dog-friendly rentals!). There are multiple piers to relax and watch the sunset. The private beach is not dog-friendly, but would be great if you are looking for family friendly activities. Lynn Ann’s is strategically located very close to shops and restaurants in St. Germain, lots of hiking trails, and is only a 20 minute ride into Eagle River. We found the rates to be reasonable and the pet fee is only $1/per day/per dog. The bathhouse was always clean and there were pet waste bags provided around the grounds. We can’t recommend a stay at Lynn Ann’s Campground enough!
