Updated: 7 days ago

Every Saturday we highlight a craft brewery that we love. This blog has a map and recap of each featured brewery. It will update each week so you will always be able to reference our brewery recommendations!

Gravity Box Brewing Company - Mauston, WI

🍺Gravity Box is such a cool spot and the perfect start to Saturday Sips! They share their beautiful space with a coffee shop, and dogs are welcome to join you in the tap room. Not only is this the perfect spot to bring your laptop and knock out some work, but it’s also a great spot for lounging, chatting, or playing a game with friends!

☕️Hayden’s Beer Rec: La Falta - Mexican Coffee Stout

👯‍♀️Julia’s Beer Rec: Thank You for Being a Friend - Sour

MobCraft Brewery - Milwaukee, WI

🏙️ MobCraft is such a fun space! It’s located in the Walker’s Point area and is covered with beautiful murals. We played some board games and enjoyed trying their unique beers. We will definitely be back to try their pizza too–it looked amazing!

🛟Hayden’s Pick: Float On - American Pale Ale

🍓Julia’s Pick: Rad-Berry - Fruited Sour

Adventure Club Brewing - Bayfield, WI

✨We have a guest for this week’s brewery spotlight! Last May, I went to Bayfield with my sister Haley, and it was incredible! This summer, my sister and I are going back, and I will also finally get to explore the area with Hayden on a different trip. I’m so excited to take him to Adventure Club Brewing! The brewery is connected to a cool outdoor adventure store and has a fun selection of sour beers. Their patio is dog-friendly, has nice fire pits, and is a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.

🥝Julia’s Pick: Big Boi Kiwi - Lactose Sour

🐻Haley’s Pick: Bear Hop - IPA

Their taps rotate often! Can’t wait to see what’s there next time we go.

Reef Brewing Company - Woodruff, WI

🐾Back in March, we finally got to check out @rockyreefbrewing and we were so impressed! They have an absolutely KILLER selection of sours–I think 11 different ones on their master list! I asked Hayden to stop as we passed through yesterday so I could pick up some new ones. The space is so cool and we really enjoyed the variety of beers we tried! Dogs are welcome in the taproom, so they don’t serve food, but you can bring in your own (highly recommend picking up @minocquapopcornandpuffs on the way!). In the summer they have a bunch of outdoor seating and sometimes offer live music!

🍺Hayden’s Pick: Juicer McGavin– Hazy IPA

🍋 Julia’s Pick: Rogue Barbie Kettle Sour

3 Sheeps Brewing - Sheboygan, WI

🐑The 3 Sheeps taproom is a large, lively space that welcomes lots of pups everyday! They are incredibly dog-friendly, allow you to bring in your own food (order @doordash from Legend Larry’s—the wings are great), and have some really tasty beers (Fresh Coast, anyone??)! They have the best brewery merchandise and are a perfect space to hangout in a group.

🏄🏻‍♂️Hayden’s Pick: Offshore - West Coast IPS

👓Julia’s Pick: Full Spectrum - Fruited Sour

Broken Bat Brewing Company - Milwaukee, WI

🐾Another incredibly dog-friendly brewery to add to your list! Broken Bat is located in the Walker’s Point neighborhood and has such a great space. They offer a wide variety of beers, and we always receive excellent service. Stop by on your next visit to Milwaukee!

⚾️Hayden’s Pick: The Mick - IPA

🧢 Julia’s Pick: Blue Razz - Sour

Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen - Baraboo, WI

🪨 Sitting just steps away from the north entrance of Devils Lake State Park, Tumbled Rock makes for the perfect place to stop for a good meal & brew after adventuring! They have a fabulous dog-friendly patio and often have live music. Their food menu is creative, and they absolutely crush the classics. Hayden & I both think they have the best curds around! The fish fry is also excellent.

🍺 Hayden’s pick: Devil’s Doorway - Double IPA

🐄 Julia’s pick: Udder’s Up - Cream Ale

East Troy Brewery - East Troy, WI

🏦 This brewery sits on East Troy’s town square in an old bank building. The beers are great and the building is very cool. Take your beer into the old safe and see how the floor is lined with pennies—Such a cool space!

🧀 They serve up a full menu and we recommend the cheese curds!

🪵 Hayden & Haley’s Pick: Cream City Bricks in the Sticks

🍋 Julia’s Pick: Lemon Lager

Dells Brewing Co - Wisconsin Dells, WI

🍕 Did you know that the upper level of Moosejaw Pizza is home to a brewery?! This iconic Dells restaurant serves up a bunch of house made beers and their own soda line! They have a massive menu in addition to their incredible thick crust pizzas! Highly recommend a stop on your next trip to the Dells.

🍓Julia’s pick: Strawberry Lemon-ale - Blonde Ale

👐🏼Hayden’s pick: Sconnie Hazy Hop - Hazy IPA

Young Blood Beer Company - Madison, WI

🌱This super cute taproom just off the capital square makes for the perfect pit stop after the Dane County Farmers Market!

🍍If you like a good sour, move Young Blood to the top of your list! They have an impressive selection of Fruit Punch Sours.

🍉 Julia’s pick: Pink Lexus - Fruited Sour

Blue Ox Cider - Bayfield, WI

🍷This incredible cidery is connected to Bayfield Winery and serves up so many incredible, locally made beverages and snack plates. Grab a glass and take a seat on their dog-friendly patio over looking the beautiful orchard.

🙌🏼Both times I visited, I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, Phil. He is so kind and passionate about the business. He will also help you create some awesome pairings if you do a flight and a snack plate. Highly recommend a visit the next time you’re in Bayfield!

🍏Hayden’s Pick: Hopped Cider

🍎Julia’s Pick: Brut Cider
