what we ate: week of 2/9 (Mercer)

We spent 5 ✨blissful✨ nights at Birchwood Point on Wilson Lake. Here’s everything we ate while we were there.


🍛 Friday:


🍺 Saturday:


🌭 Sunday:

  • hot cocoa and banana bread

  • foot long hotdogs from Muskies

  • shrimp puffs

  • meatball subs for the Super Bowl: to the crockpot-- bag of frozen/fully cooked meatballs, jar of red sauce, *measure seasonings with your heart* onion power, garlic power, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and fresh garlic-- cook on high for 2 hours or until warm all the way through. Toast buns/rolls under broiler. Add warmed meatballs to toasted bun and top with slices of provolone. Put back under broiler until cheese is melty.

  • cookie s’mores for dessert 


🍩 Monday:


🍅 Tuesday:

  • Caprese dip and we munched while playing games

  • ended the night with hot cocoa
